King Farouk of Egypt
Was Reportedly a Kleptomaniac
King Farouk of Egypt was known for his extravagant lifestyle and love for luxury cars. His collection included a variety of high-end automobiles from prestigious brands including: Rolls-Royce Phantom III, Mercedes-Benz 540K, Fiat, Lancia, Hispano-Suiza, Chrysler Imperial and several Packards, Cadillacs, Bentleys, and Lincolns.
One of the more bizarre aspects of Farouk's behavior was his tendency to steal items, even though he had immense wealth. He reportedly had kleptomaniac tendencies, taking objects from guests, hotels, and even other countries.
It is said that he once stole a pocket watch from Winston Churchill during a visit. He also had a strong inclination towards gambling, spending a lot of time at casinos and enjoyed betting on various games.
